Rebecca Starkey - Manager

Rebecca StarkeyRebecca is the Manager for Campbell Tickell Assurance.  A member of the Internal Audit Institute of the United Kingdom and Ireland, she holds both the MIIA and PIIA qualifications and also qualified in the Management Diploma of the New Zealand Institute of Management and the Diploma of Human Resources (NZ). She joined the company in September 2004 and previously worked as a business analyst and internal auditor for a large New Zealand company. 

Rebecca’s role regularly sees her undertaking the following work for a range of different clients:

  • Planning, executing and managing audit assignments, including areas such as (but not limited to); Treasury (including loan covenant compliance), risk management, business planning, development, customer service/resident   liaison, rent setting and so on
  • Assessing performance against standards
  • Reviewing internal controls and assessing assurance provided to Boards
  • Undertaking fraud investigations
  • Assessing efficiency within processes and procedures
  • Undertaking specialist reviews such as assessing compliance with public grant funding requirements and open book audits of partnered arrangements.

Rebecca has also worked on mergers and undertaken consultancy reviews on financial systems and risk management.
